THE JOURNEY
Henry is now a 11 year old boy. He is running, jumping, playing sports, and is happy as can be again.
He was diagnosed with
when he was 8 years old. His primary doctor for his situation was stationed at UNM Carrie Tingley Hospital. She immediately put Henry in a wheelchair and on crutches when he needed to be more mobile. He was non-weight bearing for 18 months.
He began walking but was limited to just that. No running or jumping for about another year. He was recently just released to play soccer and jump on his new trampoline!!
This journey has not been easy but it he has persevered and overcame his trials.
